Holy Oldine (also referred to as the Sacred Oldine Temple) is a famous holy and historical site located on the Humas Continent to the north of Victorias. According to legends, one of the great heroes lived out his life and died there. As he died, he used the last of his magic power to purify the site, which was once a poisonous swamp, and make it so pure that even now, centuries later, no monster would enter the place.
One of the hero's followers was a priest named Ronise Gilviti who built a large temple on the site. The place is considered sacred to the Humas and many of their people visit the site as tourists every day.The protection of the place was handed down through the generations of the same family to Portnis Gilviti.
She was delighted when King Rudolph selected the place as the site for the historic Humas-Evila Alliance Conference. But she was later appalled to discover the king had chosen the spot because a sacred room had the ability to trap the Demon Lord Eveam and her people while the Humas and Gabranth launched a joint unprovoked attack on Xaos.
It was also the site of an attempted assassination of the Demon Lord and where the king was transformed into a monster. This caused a massacre and did serious damage to much of e historic site, which would take a long time to repair. It is later revealed that the site housed a strange power called the 'Light of Naos' in a secure room below the temple. Despite it being a carefully guarded secret it was discovered and later stolen by the Matar Deus.
